Willow Peak in Sinai, mountain believed to be biblical Mt. Horeb

“And God said, ‘I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.'” (Exodus 3:12)

As we prepare to celebrate Passover later this month, let’s visit a mountain in the Holy Land where God first told Moses of his part in the Israelites’ story. This mountain is Willow Peak in the Sinai, believed to be Mt. Horeb, where Moses encountered the Burning Bush. Shabbat shalom, friends.
