Their journey to their biblical homeland, Israel, at last done, an aliyah flight of Jews from Yemen arrive at Lod Airport in 1950. Leaving Yemen “when the sun rose over the desert,” the olim said “it was good to fly like the birds.” Shabbat shalom, friends.
