Israeli Killed in West Bank Stabbing Attack

Terror again struck the Holy Land on Monday, and another innocent life was lost. The Times of Israel’s Jacob Magid reports that an Israeli man has died from wounds suffered in a West Bank stabbing attack:

An Israeli man was killed on Monday afternoon after he was stabbed in the chest in an apparent terror attack in the West Bank settlement of Ariel, the army and medics said.

The army said an IDF officer identified the attacker and pursued him, hitting with his vehicle, but he managed to flee.  “IDF troops are searching the area,” the army said.

The Magen David Adom emergency service and army medics treated the victim, in his 40s, at the scene on Jerusalem Boulevard in the northern West Bank settlement.

He was later identified as Itamar Ben Gal, a father of four from the nearby settlement of Har Bracha.

Medics tried to resuscitate Ben Gal, who was stabbed repeatedly in the chest
