Choose Life – New York Times Publishes Dubious Op-Ed

Choose Life

The New York Times is known for skewing almost everything related to Israel. But they have reached a new low.

On Monday, not only did they publish an op-ed by the infamous, convicted Palestinian terrorist and murderer Marwan Barghouti, but they described this devil of a man simply as ‘”a Palestinian leader and parliamentarian.” No mention of him being a murderer, a convicted terrorist, and a sworn enemy of the free world.

As Israeli politician Yair Lapid brilliantly said, “the attempt by The New York Times ‘to be balanced’ amuses Barghouti, who understands that this sacred attempt at balance creates equal standing between murderer and murdered, terrorist and victim, lie and truth.”

I pray that all journalists begin to feel the enormous responsibly of their profession, and indeed make the choice to strengthen the light instead of the darkness; to choose life insead of death.

“I have set before you life and death…choose life” (Deuteronomy 30:19).
