Project Spotlight: Yael Wishes U.S. Soldiers a Happy Fourth of July!

As U.S. soldiers arrived in Israel, docking the George H.W. Bush aircraft in Israel’s Haifa Bay, they were welcomed by The Fellowship‘s Yael Eckstein and her children!

This ship is the world’s largest warship manned by a crew of 5,000 sailors and carrying around 90 fighter jets. It is also part of Operation Inherent Resolve which combats the Islamic State terror group in Iraq and Syria.

The vessel’s crew was granted leave to travel around Israel to celebrate the holiday weekend.

So in order to say thank you to the soldiers and wish them a happy Fourth of July, Yael and her family distributed free hot dogs, lemonade, and good cheer.

The sailors feel so thankful to The Fellowship and our wonderful donors for showing appreciation for all their hard work and sacrifice!
