Project Spotlight: With Dignity and Fellowship

The Fellowship feels privileged to walk hand in hand with elderly Jews through our With Dignity and Fellowship program. With the compassionate support of wonderful friends like you, we reach thousands of elderly a year through this program. We provide them with food, clothing, medications, visits and check ins, and emergency funds for basic needs.

This help really makes a difference. Besides meeting their basic needs, it shows these elderly and their loved ones that we haven’t forgotten about them. And even after we’ve lost a precious elderly person, even after they’ve passed away, this care is remembered by their family, just like with Ruth. She sent us a heartfelt thank-you note after the passing of her grandma, Shari:

Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for providing her with assistance, food on the table, and a feeling of security in her heart.

She, as did others of her generation, came from a difficult place, with scarce resources and complex emotional baggage. Hunger and poverty were situations with which she was familiar, but The Fellowship provided her with both material and spiritual food.

Thank you very much for your giving. May you be blessed for that and for the kindness you have given her and the people of Israel. May God watch over you and provide you with all of your needs.
