So often, Jews around the world make aliyah from countries where it isn’t safe to freely practice their faith traditions. But when families arrive in Israel, it’s different. Their children get to learn of God’s love and expectations for His people from a young age. At a recent Hanukkah event hosted by The Fellowship, we were able to strengthen the faith of olim children ages 5 to 9 by teaching them the meaning of lighting the menorah! The program also included an explanation of the holiday through games, designing jelly donuts, candles and more.
