This year Hanukkah started at sundown on December 7, and continues through this Friday, December 15. And as 2023 comes to a close, Fellowship friends continue to spread joy and light this holy season by delivering lifesaving medicine, food, and heating assistance to those who are most vulnerable. Even during wartime, you are bringing hope and light to Israel and her people.

This year The Fellowship is providing special Hanukkah gifts (menorahs and candles) and offering celebration events to 48,000 elderly and families in Israel and Ukraine.

And we are on the ground in Israel, visiting our elderly beneficiaries of the With Dignity and Fellowship program to lift their spirits and share in holiday activities together, such as lighting the menorah.

Our With Dignity and Fellowship recipient Larisa, an 87-year-old Holocaust survivor, says it best:

“The Fellowship’s Hanukkah gift has brought the holiday to my home. I will have a festive table and there will be Hanukkah donuts. I will light candles, say a prayer, and thank God for sending good friends from The Fellowship to my home.”
