Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls.” —Psalm 122:6-7

On May 10, the Israeli people celebrate Jerusalem Day, in honor of the Holy City’s reunification after the 1967 Six-Day War. But celebrations have been halted as rockets from Hamas threaten Jerusalem, as well as areas near the Gaza border. These attacks come after growing tensions in Jerusalem’s Old City between Palestinian rioters and Israeli police.

Pray to our almighty God for an end to this terror, that He may watch over His people, and that there will be peace and safety in the Holy Land.
