Faces of The Fellowship: Artem

Artem lives with his father in Ukraine. Tragically, Artem’s mother died of cancer just last year. His father works long hours as a driver to earn enough money to support the two of them, so Artem must spend a lot of time at school. Because of the ongoing unrest and violence in Ukraine, the safety of the school is very important.

Artem attends ORT technology school in Kiev, which The Fellowship supports and provides special funding for security measures. “It’s a wonderful school and I enjoy studying here,” he says. “My favorite subjects are Hebrew and IT, especially robotics.” Because of its outstanding equipment and teaching, the school is considered one of the best in the city.

“I think it’s wonderful that we receive aid from The Fellowship,” Artem says. “I am thankful that they help us live and study safely!”
