Imagine being trapped inside your home for over a year and a half—with no hope and no help.

Grena, an elderly Holocaust survivor who lives in Lod, Israel, couldn’t leave her home for months. Suffering from diabetes, her leg had to be amputated, making it impossible to go down, let alone up, the stairs of her dilapidated building.

But even if she could have made it outside, Grena did not have the money to pay for even the most basic food or medicine.

It’s heartbreaking that elderly Holocaust survivors are suffering this way. This should not be!

Through the help of faithful friends like you, The Fellowship supported the installation of an elevator in Grena’s building and our volunteers deliver meals, medicine, and care.

But Grena is not alone. There are tens of thousands of impoverished, elderly Jews in Israel, the former Soviet Union, and around the world.

That is why we ask you today to join with The Fellowship to help those who have nowhere else to turn.
