Being back in Chicago for the first time since my father’s passing has been hard, but has also given me peace, as I see how his life’s work, The Fellowship, is only growing stronger in our mission of bringing Christians and Jews together to do God’s work.
On Tisha B’Av, through fasting, reading the Book of Lamentations, and crying out to God in prayer, Jews mourn the long history of tragedies experienced by our people. But no matter how difficult things may seem, being able to watch and partake in His promises coming to fruition brings me hope and strength.
