Photo Friday: Let Us Go to the House of the Lord

“Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
Our feet are standing
in your gates, Jerusalem.
(Psalm 122:1-2)

This photograph, taken around 1900, shows a colorized but classic Jerusalem. A Jerusalem that even then, 120 years ago, was thousands of years old. A Jerusalem – then, now, and always – God’s eternal Holy City. Shabbat shalom, friends.
