US: Sudan Third Arab Nation to Normalize Ties with Israel

Earlier this year, those who stand for Israel found hope when the Abraham Accord began the Arab world’s move towards peace with Israel, a true breakthrough in the quest for shalom in the Middle East. This hope seems to be growing, with peace ever closer. Today, our friends at The Jerusalem Post report that Israel’s greatest ally, the United States, has helped facilitate the next peace deal – the normalization of relations between the Jewish state and Sudan:
Sudan and Israel have agreed to the normalization of relations.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel was taking steps to normalize ties with Sudan, calling it the start of “a new era” in the region. In a statement in which he thanked Trump for brokering the deal, Netanyahu also said that Israeli and Sudanese delegations would meet soon to discuss commercial and agricultural cooperation.
“Today we announce another dramatic breakthrough towards peace,” he said. “Today Khartoum says yes to peace with Israel, yes to acknowledging Israel and yes to normalization with Israel. This is a new era, an era of true peace.”
