President Trump and First Lady Melania have tested positive for coronavirus. One White House spokesperson said that the president is experiencing “mild symptoms,” though all accounts describe both as doing well. Among the first to send well wishes to the president was Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu:

After US President Donald Trump was diagnosed with coronavirus on Friday morning, Israel politicians, including the premiere began wishing the world leader a “refuah shleima,” complete recovery.

“Like millions of Israelis, Sara and I are thinking of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump and wish our friends a full and speedy recovery,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on his Twitter account.

Please join us in praying for a swift and complete recovery for the president and first lady, for all those who are sick, and for all whose health is threatened by this virus.

Today as people of faith, we pray together for the President of our nation and the First Lady.

We ask for healing and a swift recovery.

We ask that their work will not be hindered.

We ask that no one in the cabinet will be affected.

We ask for health and wellness.

Thank you God, for hearing our prayer.

Amen.
