Photo Friday: Standing with Israel on the Soccer Field

Eighty-one years ago tomorrow, the Nazis began the horrific period of violence now known as Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass. Our friends, the Humans of Judaism, tell us how one international group is remembering not just this tragic event, but the Holocaust as a whole.

One of Brazil’s biggest soccer teams is standing with the Jewish people so that none of us forget. The seats of SC Corinthians Paulista’s stadium have all been adorned with the Star of David. And the team’s jerseys all read: “AM ISRAEL CHAI,” the people of Israel live. Shabbat shalom, friends.
