With Presidents’ Day on the way, Stand for Israel would like to share an inspirational photo from the Holy Land in 1951. But first some an inspiring verse from Scripture…

“Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?” (2 Chronicles 1:10).

In the photo, you’ll surely recognize Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, on the left. And on the right, you probably notice a very young Congressman John F. Kennedy. In the middle? That’s Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Jr. – son of Eleanor and Franklin Sr., the 32nd President of the U.S., who oversaw his nation’s struggles through the Great Depression and WWII – and a member of Congress, himself. Three inspiring leaders meeting to show their nations’ friendship and the shared values of their “great people.” Shabbat shalom, friends.
