“I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
I wait for the LORD
more than the watchmen wait for the morning” (Psalm 130:5-6)

This week, Israel observed Yom HaZikaron in a much different way than she ever has before. President Reuven Rivlin and a small group of masked IDF soldiers and family members of Israel’s fallen gathered at the Western Wall to honor the watchmen who made the ultimate sacrifice for the Jewish state.
