Netanyahu Evacuated as Rockets Fired

On Wednesday, a rocket attack on southern Israel forced Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to take shelter during a campaign rally. The IDF responded to the attack by striking Hamas terror targets in the Gaza Strip, where the attack had originated.

  • In the latest anti-Semitic attack in the U.S., a Jewish man wearing a kippah was attacked in New York, the violence captured on camera by his teenage attackers.
  • Also in New York, a man has been arrested for setting fires at a Jewish school.
  • Announcing new sanctions against Iran, the Trump administration is maintaining its pressure on the Islamic Republic.
  • A new laser defense system has been unveiled in Israel in hopes that it will combat the ongoing flood of incendiary devices being launched from Gaza.
