“Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let the sea resound, and all that is in it.
Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them;
let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.
Let all creation rejoice before the LORD” (Psalm 96: 11-13)

Three years ago this Sunday, our Fellowship family lost our beloved founder, Rabbi Eckstein, of blessed memory, while the Eckstein family lost a beloved father (abba) and grandfather (saba).

But even as we still mourn his loss, let us also remember the joy and jubilation that Rabbi Eckstein brought us all – in this photo from the 1960s, a young Yechiel reads and prays in his beloved Holy Land of Israel. May his memory be a blessing.
