“Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” (Genesis 9:16)

Whenever, and wherever, a rainbow appears, people of faith recall God’s promise in Genesis. But this is especially true when a rainbow graces the skies over the Holy Land, which this rainbow does here, over the Judean Hills east of the town of Ma’ale Adumim. Shabbat shalom, friends.
