“LORD, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory
in the heavens.
Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies” (Psalm 8:1-2)

How majestic is this photograph, taken in 1949, during the earliest days of the modern state of Israel. This classroom of Jewish children praise our loving Lord during a festive Hanukkah party, celebrating his miracles from days past and days to come. Shabbat shalom, friends.
