“See, I will beckon to the nations,
I will lift up my banner to the peoples;
they will bring your sons in their arms
and carry your daughters on their hips.” (Isaiah 49:22)

In this photo, taken in 1900, we see the father of modern Zionism, Theodor Herzl, with his children. Herzl would go on to help the generations to come not only fulfill their dreams of establishing a Jewish state, Israel, but of fulfilling biblical prophecy by making aliyah (immigrating) there with their own sons and daughters.
