“…a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven. It is a land the LORD your God cares for…” (Deuteronomy 11:11-12)

In this photo, taken sixty-six years ago this month in the early days of the modern state of Israel, rain from heaven soaks the ground of Tel Aviv. The Holy Land drinks up this provenance from our caring God, just as it did in Bible times, and just as it does today. Shabbat shalom, friends.
