All the Work of Your Hands

“The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.

“The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands.” (Deuteronomy 28:11-12)

Every year the United States celebrates its farmers on October 12 — National Farmers Day. So let us thank God for the hard-working farmers whose work provides us with nourishment. May He bless them and the work of their hands, in the U.S., in the Holy Land (where the above photo was taken, in 1954), and elsewhere around the world.
