for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.” (Psalm 24:1-2)

In this photo taken in 1925, long before Israel won her independence, a man enjoys the waters of the Holy Land as he floats in the Dead Sea, a pastime still enjoyed by Israelis and visitors to Israel today! Shabbat shalom, friends.
