Children Among Casualties in Israeli Bus Crash

Tragedy struck the Holy Land today when, as The Times of Israel reports, children and teens were among those who lost their lives in an accident near the Sea of Galilee:

At least five people were killed and dozens were injured in a serious crash between a bus and multiple vehicles on Route 89 in the Upper Galilee, near the town of Hurfeish, on Wednesday afternoon…

MDA said three other people involved in the accident were seriously injured and transported to a hospital and another 45 were lightly hurt. Two of the three in serious condition are children ages 11 and 13, the MDA spokesman told Army Radio…

The Bnei Akiva youth movement said the bus was carrying children and teenagers who were returning home from a day trip. Seventeen of the children on the bus hailed from the West Bank settlement of Mevo Dotan, said settler leaders…
