Assisting Orphans and Elderly in War-Torn Ukraine
Stand for Israel | February 28, 2022
After weeks of tension, on the morning of February 24, Russia launched a full-scale attack on her neighbor, Ukraine. War has come to this troubled region, and The Fellowship is on the front lines saving Jewish lives.
Here’s how your donation can support Ukraine through the help of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews:
1. Delivering Essentials and Opening Emergency Hotline

Fellowship staff on the ground report that many elderly Jews in the war zone are too infirm to leave their homes, making The Fellowship’s continued delivery of essential aid even more critical. Our Fellowship emergency hotline in Ukraine is receiving hundreds of calls for aid daily – 600 yesterday alone.
2. Evacuating Children from War Zone

Can you imagine waking up all through the night to sounds of explosions? That’s what the 60 children at Fellowship-supported Zhitomir orphanage experienced during one scary night of bombing, after a full-scale attack from Russia on Ukraine. Our partners on the ground decided to immediately evacuate them. Thanks to you, these precious children of God are safe from the war zone and were even able to observe Shabbat.
So far, The Fellowship has established a $1 million emergency fund to protect Ukraine’s vulnerable Jewish population in this time of war. As time goes on, the need for basic necessities such as food, medicine, and shelter will only increase; we are committed to ensuring that no one will do without these necessities. You can help support Ukraine’s vulnerable Jews with your best gift of love and comfort today.
