Project Spotlight: The Fellowship Responds to Heatwave in Israel

Temperatures in Israel skyrocketed to 104 degrees in some parts of the country last summer. The Health Ministry urged the public to take precautionary measures to avoid heatstroke, especially elderly people and those who suffer from chronic illnesses. They advised that people should remain in air-conditioned spaces, drink plenty of water, and avoid sun and unnecessary physical exertion.

In an effort to protect The Fellowship’s elderly With Dignity and Fellowship beneficiaries without air-conditioning, Fellowship volunteers have distributed fans and water to these vulnerable people.
