Project Spotlight: Mobile Bomb Shelters

Over the weekend, more than six hundred rockets were launched from Gaza into Israel. Four Israelis were killed and more than one hundred were wounded. The rockets have stopped for now, but we still need every Fellowship friend to stand strong with Israel in solidarity and prayer. Thankfully, The Fellowship is on the ground caring for the most vulnerable.

Security officers in the region informed us that one of their greatest needs right now is for more bomb shelters, so that Israelis have quick access to a shelter at a moment’s notice.

So, in addition to funding emergency needs of those affected by these recent attacks, we are also providing over 50 mobile bomb shelters along Israel’s southern border with Gaza.

We are placing shelters in strategic areas – near children’s playgrounds, bus stops, and community parks. Since Israelis never know where they’ll be when a code red siren sounds, putting more bomb shelters near public areas gives them confidence that they are always close to a shelter as they go about their daily routines.

In Israel’s time of need, help us raise emergency funds for assistance such as bomb shelters, security, and trauma recovery for terror victims, before terrorists strike again.
