Tour Musrara

The IFCJ delivers aid to communities throughout Israel. One community seldom seen is the community on the Seam, or Musrara. Here lived the social intelligentsia of Israel prior to the 1948 war of independence. After the war the neighborhood was settled by the thousands of immigrants form Yemen, Morocco, and Iraq. The impoverished and difficult lifestyles there led to the uprising of the Israeli Black Panthers movement.

Visitors are welcome to visit the Morasha community center, Canada House and leave from there on a guided tour of the area.
