Valentin Needs You

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen…Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them.” Isaiah 58:6-7
It is no coincidence that President Trump’s bold recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the coming move of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem came on the heels of Israel’s 70th Anniversary. God continues working through and around us, and now is a critical time to Stand for Israel.
Our solidarity with Jerusalem and Israel is founded on Bible-based compassion. Together with our friends of The Fellowship, we are helping the Jewish nation care for her neediest people with food, clothing, and shelter, as well as providing her defenders and first responders with equipment for their dangerous jobs.
As we help deliver lifesaving resources to the people of Israel beyond what the government is able to provide, we are doing our part in strengthening Israel in significant ways that truly matter.
Yet the needs continue to be staggering. Plus, destitute elderly in the Holy Land remain at great risk because of their age, meager resources, and being all alone.
These men and women, including brave Holocaust survivors, deserve to live their final years with a measure of dignity, without having to worry about their next meal!
We have taken them into our hearts by caring for deeply impoverished men, women, and children – like Valentin.
As a child, Valentin had to flee the Nazis and hide with his family far away in the Urals––the desolate mountain range in central Russia––where he only remembers being extremely hungry and very cold throughout the war.
Only with the help of loving partners like you can we continue to provide him with food and other necessities to help him live the last years of his life in dignity.
