The Fellowship cannot find better words than Karin’s to express just how much your prayers and gifts change lives.
Below is the translation of the heartfelt note of thanks which the Fellowship Crisis Hotline received from Karin, the mother of five to whom the Hotline provided assistance enabling her to pay off her debt and avoid eviction.
Let her words bless you and move you to continue God’s work each day.
Words of Appreciation:
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart on behalf of my family for the help you've given me in a time of trouble and distress.
It is said that anyone who saves one life is as if he saved the whole world. There's no doubt that you saved us!
I pray that the day will come when I will be able to repay you for what you have done for us.
Thank you and may you be blessed from heaven, Amen!
We pray you will be blessed as you bless Israel according to God’s promise in Genesis 12:3.
Karin was desperate.
She’s permanently disabled, living in constant pain. The spinal surgery she underwent to correct her condition was unsuccessful and left her unable to work.
Still, she tries her best to cope and care for her five children, and her husband works hard to support the family. But there is never enough money to make ends meet. When the family couldn’t make their monthly housing payments, Karin faced the terrifying prospect of losing her home.
The call Karin made to the Fellowship Crisis Hotline changed her life forever. When she explained their plight, we arranged to pay their debt – and help them narrowly escape eviction.
Far too many Israelis like Karin need help just to survive … and that’s why we are so thankful for loyal friends of the The Fellowship who “comfort ye, comfort ye” God’s people, as he commands us in Isaiah 40:1, through committed prayers and gifts.
The Fellowship Crisis Hotline ensures that no call for lifesaving help – from a hungry Holocaust survivor, a desperate mother like Karin, or an IDF veteran – goes unanswered.
