From Injured and Isolated to Fed and Loved

Miriam, who's 85, was hit by a car three years ago an accident that left her with severe disabilities and many sad, lonely days. Because of her limited mobility, she can't leave her house, so she spends much of her time sitting in a chair near the window so she can get some fresh air and look outside.

Thankfully, Miriam recently became part of The Fellowship's With Dignity and Fellowship program, which provides food, medicine, and companionship to needy elderly throughout Israel. In addition to having food she needs delivered directly to her home, volunteers also visit and spend time with her, ensuring that her emotional needs are met in addition to her physical needs.

Miriam is so thankful to know she has friends around the world who care for and love her! We are able to provide this compassionate assistance thanks to Fellowship friends like you who obediently respond to the Bible's command to care for the elderly"Stand in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God" (Leviticus 19:32).

When you support our Guardians of Israel program, you ensure that impoverished elderly like Miriam are able to spend their final years with dignity and fellowship, knowing that they are loved and that they are not alone.
