Israel relies on the added help of your prayers for peace and protection as she battles enemies determined to wipe her off the face of the earth.
And as Jews continue to face acts of terror while going about their everyday lives, The Fellowship provides emergency aid to victims and their families and helps with costs related to their injuries.
One recent recipient of critical care was thirteen-year-old Yosef, one of six children in a single-mother family. Because Yosef’s impoverished mother could not afford to raise all of her children, Yosef moved into the care of Beit HaTzayar orphanage in Jerusalem.
Last year, as Yosef boarded a bus to visit his mother, he felt the forceful impact of a loud and hot explosion.
Yosef remembers waking up in the shattered bus and feeling burning pain. Through blurred vision and a deafening ringing in his ears, he stumbled from the wreckage and was rushed to the hospital.
Yosef now faces a long period of rehabilitation, including many operations and skin grafts.
The Fellowship was honored to present Yosef and his mother with a medical emergency grant from our Victims of Terror Fund. And that is why we need your compassionate assistance to replenish this critical fund for other calls for help, including the most recent Israeli victims of vicious terrorist attacks.
Please pray with me for the protection of Israel’s people. And as God has provided for you, please share a generous gift to help innocent people like Yosef who need our care as we cling to God’s promise to Israel that, “No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you”(Isaiah 54:17).
