Israel's Enemies are Preparing for Battle

Since the beginning of the year, we’ve seen overwhelming evidence that Israel’s enemies are preparing to wage war against her.

The signs are clear. There is an increased presence of Hezbollah fighters and missile installations in southern Lebanon. Senior Israeli defense officials report that Syria has been moving weapons and military infrastructure to its southern border. In Gaza, leaders of the terrorist group Hamas continue their harsh, hateful anti-Israel rhetoric, including vows never to accept Israel’s existence.

Meanwhile, Iran continues its support of these three groups dedicated to Israel’s destruction. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahamadinejad stands by his description of the Jewish State as a “fake regime” that must by “wiped off the map.” This hostility to Israel, combined with Iran’s aggressive pursuit of nuclear weapons, creates a truly frightening scenario not just for Israel, but for Jewish people everywhere.

After the Holocaust, many people looked back and said that they wished they could have anticipated and helped stop the cataclysmic destruction of millions of Jewish lives. Today, the alarms are being sounded. The time to “stand for Israel” is now!
