Former Soviet Union
When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1990, the door to freedom opened for Soviet Jews, who under oppressive communist rule had for many years been persecuted and denied the right to come to Israel. On Wings of Eagles was started to provide freedom flights for these suffering people. Christians eagerly took part in this work, knowing that they were being used by God to fulfill the biblical prophecy, “the Gentiles… will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders” (Isaiah 49:22). Since then, The Fellowship’s friends have brought hundreds of thousands of Jews to the Holy Land through their generous donations to On Wings of Eagles.
