'Thank You With All My Heart!'
Elderly recipients and their family members sent thank-you notes to tell The Fellowship how much they appreciated the gift of heat this winter. Eligible recipients received a grant of about $40 (150 NIS/shekels) toward their heating bill for February and March.
"Yesterday I visited my 86-year-old grandmother, who made aliyah from Argentina many years ago. Because she doesn't know Hebrew very well, she asked me to check her electricity bill because she didn't quite understand it. When I looked at the bill, it was written that the Fellowship under the leadership of Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, had donated 150 NIS towards the bill. I explained this to my grandmother, who just couldn't believe it. She was so moved and shocked and happy! She made me promise that I would write to you to thank you. You did a wonderful thing. You gave my grandmother a gift that was very meaningful to her.
In my own name and in the name of my grandmother, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart on your generous donation and your good intention to help the elderly go through the winter warm and secure.
