This year The Fellowship marked its 25th anniversary with many unique and special events. One of the most exciting, one that was truly a Fellowship first – was the 25th Anniversary Alaskan Cruise, joined by me and my wife, Joelle.
For an entire week, participants of our Alaskan Cruise experienced the beauty of God's creation in one of the most scenic and culturally rich areas in the world. At Glacier Bay National Park, we witnessed the birth of massive icebergs, and marveled at a unique ecosystem of plants and animals. At Sitka, Alaska, we encountered a fascinating blend of Russian and native Tlingit culture. We visited Victoria, British Columbia, a beautiful city that offers many charming reminders of Canada's British colonial past.
Steeped in the beauty and richness of God's creation, we also spent time exploring God's word together. Each day of our journey, I led a Bible study session that helped participants better understand the Jewish roots of the Christian faith and spoke about special Fellowship initiatives that were made possible through your generous donations. On Friday, Joelle and I were privileged to share a traditional Sabbath meal with cruise participants.
If you'd like more information on our 25th Anniversary Alaskan Cruise, I hope you'll spend some time exploring our website. Get a taste of our incredible experience by viewing our 2008 tour itinerary and photos, as our daily journal written by participant Sandy Thorn Clark.
