The United States Senate recently voted to impose new sanctions on Iran in an attempt to curb the Islamic Republic's pursuit of nuclear weapons and its support of worldwide terror—although, up to this point, sanctions have had little effect. While most of us cannot impact the course of global events, we do have access to One Whose strength is far beyond any earthly power. Each of us, as individuals, has the ability to come before Almighty God in prayer, and to appeal to Him on behalf of His children. Join us in raising a chorus of prayer to God for the security, protection, and well-being of Israel, America, and the world.

• Pray that the new sanctions imposed on Iran will succeed in pressuring them to curtail their quest for nuclear weapons.
• Pray for all leaders of the world to act with a strong and forceful hand in confronting Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other leaders who call for the destruction of the State of Israel. "In your unfailing love, silence my enemies; destroy all my foes, for I am your servant." (Psalm 143:12)
• Pray for Israeli leaders, for their guidance and direction during these critical times as they seek to bring security and protection to the Israeli people. "He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me… He delivered me because He delighted in me." (Psalms 18:17,19)
• Pray for the people of Haiti who have suffered so greatly. Pray that God will comfort those who have lost loved ones, and will give survivors strength and perseverance in the months and years ahead as they seek to rebuild their shattered lives. "Answer me quickly, O Lord; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go down to the pit." (Psalm 143:7)
• Pray for the new Ethiopian immigrants brought to Israel through The Fellowship's On Wings of Eagles program, that they have the strength and support to make a successful transition in their promised land. "Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the ends of the earth… a great throng shall return."(Jeremiah 31:8)

"God Answered My Prayers through The Fellowship" Shir and her family are very poor.
