Executive Assistant

The International Fellowship of Christians & Jews has an exciting opportunity available for a highly professional, skilled, resourceful and motivated EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT to provide support to our Vice President of Marketing and Communications (VP).

Under general direction, assists the Vice President of Marketing and Communications (VP) with logistical, administrative and communication processes for the division to develop, organize and accomplish the mission and objectives of the International Fellowship of Christian and Jews (IFCJ). This includes representing the VP at meetings and communicating VP messages and instructions to management staff.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the calendar of the VP which includes but is not limited to scheduling and organizing meetings and all logistical activities.
  • Acting as a liaison between the VP, IFCJ staff, and the general public to ensure the delivery of relevant information, adherence to timelines, reporting, project completion, issue resolution.
  • Preparing correspondence for the VP as requested. Reviewing, managing, and evaluating internal and external communications in confidence to identify items requiring priority attention; independently responding to general correspondence of a routine nature.
  • Completing and prioritizing a number of departmental and interdepartmental projects on behalf of the VP.
  • Establishing and managing the VP’s physical office including all electronic and hard copy files, computer and telephonic equipment.
  • Organizes and maintains documents related to the VP’s departments and provides assistance to the VP’s direct reports as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of executive assistant or administrative management experience or its equivalent supporting managers or executives in a high volume, professional office environment.
  • Non-profit work experience in a faith-based setting preferred.
  • Marketing, communications, or advertising experience with copy editing background preferred.
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suite applications and internet research.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage multiple projects, tasks, and competing deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail with excellent research, proofing, and follow-up skills. Must be self-motivated, proactive, and solution focused.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to establish and maintain a comprehensive record-keeping system and office procedures for an ever-evolving department.

.NET Developer

The International Fellowship of Christians & Jews has an exciting opportunity available for a highly professional, skilled, resourceful and motivated .NET DEVELOPER in a Temporary to Hire capacity.

The .NET Developer is responsible for interfacing with internal and external users to deliver automated business processes that meet business needs. This role is also responsible for documenting these solutions and providing appropriate training for end users using industry best practices.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing software to automate business processes.
  • Collaborating with end-users to gather requirements and set expectations. Interacting with other technical team members to establish program requirements.
  • Training and supporting end-users on the in-house programs.
  • Documenting in-house programs and processes in a clear and concise manner for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Adherence to software development best practices.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining .NET custom applications using ITIL best practices.
  • Experience with C#, XML, XSLT, LINQ, AJAX, SOAP, Java, and ASP.NET.
  • Experience developing applications in a Sharepoint environment.

Prospect Researcher

The International Fellowship of Christians & Jews has an exciting opportunity available for a highly professional, skilled, resourceful and motivated PROSPECT RESEARCHER to provide support to our VP of Leadership Giving and the Major Gifts and Planned Giving teams.

The Prospect Researcher investigates and analyzes information on current and prospective donors to The Fellowship and prepares detailed reports for use by development officers in the cultivation of these donors. The Researcher initiates new and innovative methods to identify prospective donors. This role will also assist the Vice President of Leadership Giving (VP) with administrative functions.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively and independently conducting ongoing, in-depth research of current and prospective donors, determining their propensity and capacity to give, for the ultimate cultivation and solicitation of major and planned gifts. This includes individual, corporations, and grant makers that may act as funding sources for various Fellowship fundraising initiatives.
  • Utilizing various wealth screening software, public records, the Internet, and free or fee-based resources according to the standard ethical guideline. Keeping abreast of trends in the prospect research profession through training in on-line searches, library resource, and reading publications.
  • Recording prospect research information using the donor database. Preparing detailed analysis and reports pertaining to individual donors and the corresponding research findings and outcomes. Preparing detailed briefing materials for staff prior to meetings with prospective donors.
  • Developing and implementing standardized, analytical approaches to prospect research and rating systems. Providing an ongoing assessment of research methods, goals and strategies and maintaining written policies and procedures pertaining to these methods.
  • Collaborating with Leadership Giving staff (VP, Major Gift Officers, MG Associates, and Planned Giving) to assist in the development of The Fellowship's donor cultivation strategy, maintaining an ongoing awareness of donor and division needs/activities.
  • Organizing and maintaining administrative functions for the VP including general correspondence, meeting and travel arrangements for departmental meetings, and serving as liaison between the VP and reporting departments ensuring adherence to timelines, completion of projects, and issue resolution.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience as a prospect researcher for a non-profit or similar experience in non-profit development or biographical research.
  • Demonstrated analytical and investigative skills to elicit information needed to clarify inquiries and requests.
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in internet research methodology and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage multiple projects, tasks, and competing deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Very strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent research and follow-up skills. Must be self-motivated, proactive, and solution focused.
