In the continued friendship between the United States and Israel, American helicopters are being sent to the Jewish state's military. Arutz Sheva's Matt Wanderman reports that Israel has purchased SH-60 Sea Hawk helicopters for use in search-and-rescue missions, for support, and for deployments:

The US State Department has agreed to sell Israel parts for the SH-60F Sea Hawk helicopter as part of a $300 million sale...

Separately, Israel bought eight SH-60F Sea Hawks from Sikorsky as part of the Excess Defense Articles program...

Israel will use the helicopters and equipment for search-and-rescue, support and deployment operations.

The SH-60F is based on the Blackhawk helicopter.
