Two IDF Soldiers Wounded in Checkpoint Shooting

As Israel entered Shabbat, the terror she faces did not fade. Arutz Sheva's Elad Benari reports that two IDF soldiers were shot and wounded in an attack at a West Bank checkpoint:

Two IDF soldiers were wounded on Friday night (Israel time) in a shooting attack on a military checkpoint on Route 443, near Beit Horon in the Binyamin region.

Initial reports say a Palestinian Arab terrorist arrived at the checkpoint and opened fire from his vehicle before fleeing the scene.

One of the soldiers was lightly-to-moderately injured and the second was lightly injured. They were taken to the Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem.

Security forces are searching for the terrorist.

Help the Unseen

You can heed the biblical mandate “not to turn away from your own flesh and blood” (Isaiah 58:7) and provide a needy elderly Jew, like Olga, with food, heating fuel, warm clothes, and blankets this winter. Every day is important as the harsh cold winds descend upon the former Soviet Union. Please prayerfully consider giving your best and most generous gift to The Fellowship today for this lifesaving work.
