Several Killed, More Injured in Munich Shooting

In breaking news, reports from Germany say that several people are dead and at least ten more are wounded after a shooting attack at a shopping center in Munich. The Times of Israel tells us more, including reports of a possible second shooting:

Several people were killed and 10 wounded in a shooting at a shopping center in Munich on Friday, German police said Friday evening.

Shortly after the initial news came in, unconfirmed reports spoke of a second shooting at the Karlsplatz square in the center of the city.

The mall near the southern German city’s Olympic stadium was surrounded by police after shots were fired.

“There is a major police operation under way in the shopping center,” Munich police said on Twitter, urging people to avoid the area.

Please pray for this attack's victims. We will keep you informed as we learn more.
