Photo Friday: The Land He Promised

Buchenwald Survivors Arrive in Haifa, July 15, 1945 (Photo: wikicommons)

But he brought us out from there to bring us in and give us the land he promised on oath to our ancestors. The LORD commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the LORD our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today. (Deuteronomy 6:23-24)

Yesterday was Yom HaShoah, Israel's Holocaust Remembrance Day. Today we bring you this photo, of Buchenwald survivors arriving in Haifa in 1945. Shabbat shalom, friends.
