Photo Friday: Keep My Lamp Burning

900-year-old lamp found on Ashkelon beach, June 2016 (Photo: IAA/ASHERNET)

You, LORD, keep my lamp burning;
    my God turns my darkness into light.
(Psalm 18:28)

Last week, an Israeli lifeguard on an Ashkelon beach uncovered a piece of history - a 900-year-old oil lamp from the Crusader Period. We just love when bits of history are rediscovered in the Holy Land! Shabbat shalom, friends.
