Yesterday, the IDF Paratroopers Brigade celebrated its 60th birthday. This elite infantry force has a long history of carrying out the most difficult missions the nation of Israel assigns. During the Six-Day War in 1967, the Paratroopers captured the Western Wall and Temple Mount, the most sacred parts of the Holy City of Jerusalem. We salute these brave warriors of Israel, past and present. Shabbat shalom, friends.
