Photo Friday: An Uninvited Wedding Guest at Masada

Ibex at Masada wedding (Photo: imgur/AlexanderBorschel)

An ibex is a desert-dwelling mountain goat found in Israel. This particular ibex decided to crash a wedding being held at Masada, content to eat paper, garbage, and cucumbers he could find. An interesting biblical tie-in is that the Hebrew word for ibex is "Jael" or "Yael," which is also the name of the heroine who saved the Israelites in the Book of Judges. Shabbat shalom, friends.
