Netanyahu Makes First Visit to U.S. Since Iran Nuclear Deal

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited with President Obama at the White House this week, the first time the two leaders have met since the adoption of the Iran nuclear deal. On the agenda was a new military aid package for Israel. Israel receives about $3 billion annually from the U.S.

Also this week in Israel in the News:

• Israel said the European Union should be “ashamed of itself” for passing a resolution demanding all exports from Israeli settlements be specially labeled.
• An avowed anti-Semite and white supremacist who killed three people at Jewish places of worship in Kansas was given the death penalty for his crimes.
• A student who stabbed four people on a University of California campus was found to have ties to ISIS.
