Israeli Teen Slashed with Bottle by Arab Gang

Service for Israeli youth is compulsory, so many teens work out to prepare for their time protecting their homeland. That is what one Tel Aviv teenager was doing at a park, reports The Times of Israel's Stuart Winer, when a gang of Arabs attacked him with a broken bottle and anti-Semitic epithets:

A Jewish teenager was injured Tuesday night in Tel Aviv by an Arab gang who stabbed him with a broken bottle and hurled anti-Semitic abuse at him, calling him a “dirty Jew.”

Sahar Tusia, 17, required medical treatment after he was assaulted in a park on Lavon Street in the south of the city near Jaffa, Channel 2’s website reported.

The teenager explained he had been going to the park regularly to train in preparation ahead of his induction into the IDF and had already had a previous verbal clash with the gang that attacked him.

“It all began two weeks ago when I went out to exercise in the park on Lavon Street in Tel Aviv,” he said. “A gang of five Arab youths saw me exercising and started to shout at me ‘dirty Jew'"...
